Camptown, Inc. is a Christian not-for-profit organization that works with youth through outdoor wilderness and nature programs. Our unique, creative, and fun outdoor programs have grown from serving 174 youth in 2004 to over 3,000 youth a year. Outdoor Program Manager (full time)
The Program Manager is responsible for promoting, leading, developing and updating Camptown outdoor wilderness programs including, backpacking, canoeing, hiking, teambuilding, environmental education, spiritual education & missions, and adjudicated youth programs. This position requires overnight travel and weekends. Candidates should have a heart and desire to work with youth from all walks of life. BA/BS degree in recreation, outdoor education, or related fields preferred. Must have strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
Summer Program Intern (full time temporary)
The Summer Intern will assist Camptown staff in preparing and implementing programming including: check-in and clean equipment used on trips getting ready for next trip, keep office, CRUX climbing facility, warehouse, bathrooms, and kitchen areas clean and organized, keep Camptown vehicles clean before and after programs. The Summer Intern will also be assisting on day camps and other day programs. Must be at least 18 years old, dependable, resourceful, able to follow instructions, and have attention to detail.
