Camptown, Inc. is a Christian not-for-profit organization that works with youth through outdoor wilderness and nature programs. Our unique, creative, and fun outdoor programs have grown from serving 174 youth in 2004 to over 3,000 youth a year. Outdoor Program Manager – Supplemental
Do you love the outdoors but don’t want to leave your current job? Join our team as a supplemental Program Manager. Help out during our peak periods. This position reports to the Program Director and is responsible for leading outdoor wilderness programs including, backpacking, canoeing, hiking, climbing, team-building, environmental education, spiritual education & missions, and adjudicated youth programs. This position requires overnight travel and weekends. Candidates should have a heart and desire to work with youth from all walks of life. BA/BS degree in recreation, outdoor education, or related fields preferred. Must have strong organizational, planning, and communication skills.
Facility Assistant – Part Time(8-12 hours per week)
This position reports to the CRUX & Facility Manager and is responsible for checking-in and cleaning equipment used on trips getting ready for next trip; keeping office, CRUX climbing facility, warehouse, bathrooms, and kitchen areas clean and organized. This includes but is not limited to vacuuming, dusting, emptying rash and recycling bins, dis-infesting toilets/sinks, cleaning climbing mats, cleaning behind the climbing wall, clean windows and warehouse area; keeping Camptown vehicles clean before and after programs and assisting in vehicle maintenance notifying Facility Manager when any maintenance needs are noticed.
Special Events Intern – Part Time Temporary
The Intern will be working on our special events and will gain experience in event planning, working with a committee, printed material design, ticket sales, and auction item solicitation.
