Camptown is a non-profit organization committed to serving the needs of youth by providing wilderness adventure programs that lead youth to a better path by giving them direction for the choices they make in life.
For the last six weeks Camptown Program Director Chad Feay has been leading training sessions for third through fifth graders in the Liberty Park Boys and Girls Club Before and After School Program. The students have been learning the principles of the Leave No Trace Outdoor Ethics program and will now put their training into action as they visit McCormick’s Creek State Park near Spencer in Southern Indiana on Saturday, November 19th, 2005. They will be going on a hike, crawling through Wolf Cave, and taking part in a 45-minute program put on by the Nature Center at the Park.
